Sunny is a loyal family man. Simply saying he is a bad person because of one racist taunt is ridiculous.

After Kolkata fans booed him and his wife, he vowed never to play there and even opted out of an India-Pakistan clash there.

It was because of his influence that his brother in law played for more years despite failing in last stages and also helped his less talented son to play for India.

He also protected people from the mob by putting his life on the line.

The fans in stadium provoked the bowlers and asked them to kill batsmen by bowling bouncers to batsmen in an era when there was no protective equipment.

A batsman was already injured and the fans wanted bowlers to further injure batsmen. Calling such blood thirsty fans as barbarians, mob and displaying monkey behaviour isn’t racist.

If people behave like wild animals, they deserve to be called out for acting like that.

It doesn’t mean it is unacceptable for black people, somewhat acceptable for brown people and okay for white people to be called that.

I mean Yeah, Australian crowd is ruthless, they also were when Johnson was destroying England with ease, nobody called it animalistic obviously as that's the nature of pace heavy nations. I bet if Gavaskar was a white man playing for England or Australia, we'd never hear the end of it about that comment but he's slightly brown so there's layers of defense.
