Its difficult for me to really say... i`m lucky at the moment because my two best bats and wk are still 20 but have very high skill and some decent experience. Also Coetzee (who is slowly finding touch again) and Jupp add a strong allrounder presence. Coetzee's wickets today an unexpected surprise. Nkumane is already heading into senior team for the experience if nothing else, and seems to be holding his own. Passmore gives top SOD a sides problems. And Watts today was super great, I may have inadvertently got a good one with him, even if he is a finger spinner....

I have lost some powerful components though compared to the beginning of the season... sales and aging out. Just hope I can keep punching above my weight.
Just having a look at your squad and yeah despite your relatively low EPV of the teams in division - seeing 2 bats at above 40 skill is eyecatching - my best is Tweddle at 39 and then Mthombeni is a very good keeper with 15 keeping/37 batting, Coetzee at 36 too. Seems like perhaps you lack that bit of depth if those 4 fail with the bat although imagine more often than not at the very least 1 of those batters will come off.

Watts coming off with the ball could be big for you too - Coetzee, Nkumane, Passmore and Jupp all seem very strong bowling options on paper (doesn't always translate to results but would prefer the extra skill than not). 3 at 35+ rating and 1 at 31 but then 27 for Watts its hardly terrible but not ideal. Although it probably looks worse that his batting is passible but not top 6 standard yet although crucial 25 not out for him in CWC6. In contrast Paul Hailstone plays for my side (Winton CC) and has a key role of being my 5th bowler - will share overs with Tweddle and has 27 bowling rating too.

Not to make excuses as the nucleus of my side is still intact but I do think if I had my CWC5 side - virtually the same but I had Bernard Mayer who was one of our better bats, a good bowling option and unlike Hailstone bowled seam so was more suited to our home pitches. Meant it felt like we had 5 genuine bowlers without weakening the batting by having 5 specialist bowlers. Also, its not a problem yet but Horn is 21 and 9 weeks. Alisson and Jawad sold after they turned 22 which means in a few weeks I'll need a new wicketkeeper as Horn will be 22 and ineligible in latter half of CWC6.

I see you do have 2 quality 22 year olds though so you have probably missed out more in that regard.

My Charminster captain Dilshan Jayawickrama having quite the impact in my DEV friendly v Ashgrove Astronauts - 47 off 56 from number 9 before getting out to the last ball coming in at 112/7 with number 8 Jacob Dickins (45*) at the crease alongside Jayawickrama.

Then getting 3/20 from 7.3 overs.

Managed to keep FHK under 300… not sure how to judge these dry fast pitches. Think 280 is about par. See how the TMO batsmen cope with the pressure.

great game in the end! Ncanana almost pulled it off at the end but our death bowling held firm. Johannes is a great addition to the team, he's been brilliant last couple of games vs FHK!

Yes! FHK game is tomorrow morning.

Ended on a good note for TMOs today. Great win against the Wild Geese in CWC6.
A stonking win for you yesterday - A very nasty pitch on which you put up a very formidable 155 - and our batting had no answer at all and crumbled away to 0 points!

And a double whammy as Jura lost to Charminster albeit a close battle! A bit of a turnover on paper as we have the upper hand XPV wise. The batting was held by decent bowling, our bowling was of a similar level ...so I attribute the win to steady accumulation of runs by Char throughout their innings and a crucial 25 no off 19 balls at No.8 from 'what the' Dickins!

A look at some of our 4 match series

Charminster CC lost earlier today v Ashgrove Astronauts to draw their 4 match series 2-2.

Winton CC beat The Net Theorists 3-1 and drew v Free HK 2-2.

Thanks to @cnerd123 @StephenZA and @Jarquis for the games.

Ataraxia won the 1st match of a 4 match series v Winton CC earlier today

Think the bowling definetly won it for us and even though we were up against superior bowling - early 60ks bowling v early 50ks top and middle order - our batters were only chasing 165 - avoid a collapse of wickets and will be there or thereabouts chasing such a target. Although live it did feel like we might mess it up as the required rate flirted around 6.

Against ZCC Zac Chambers followed on from his FHK success with another quick fifty, nicely.

Surprisingly, AX-W won a premier division game, with strong knocks from Sheikh, O'Callaghan, Warwick, and Picton getting us 285 - too much for Schmaltzberg then.

Good win today for the TMOs against Charminster... Chaminster came out hard on the batting front but eventually the big score did its job with some good late innings bowling. Good game @JOJOXI
Yep good game, looked back on comms after the match and feared a thrashing when you made 282/5. But to get 19 runs within that and get a bonus point I'm happy. Especially as Winton beat The Wild Geese - thought heading into this round of games that it would be a decent round if one of my two teams could win.

Anthony Davidson's innings proving the difference, T20 inning over 53 balls - kudos to him.

Another weakness of ours coming to the fore - in fairness chasing 282 it was a very good effort making 263 all out but Milbank and Ramsey off to a flyer 105/0 after 12.1 overs. However, the rest minus Fairhurst aren't really good enough for the Prem Division. Human getting some runs albeit at less than a run a ball is nice - in as a bowler but hoping we can use him as a pinch hitter and has had a tad more success of late.

Delighted with our Winton CC side - bowlers doing a good job and a big NRR win could prove useful at end of season - especially as we will be missing some big players towards end of group stage as Tweddle, Horn and Woodford all age out in a few weeks time.

Also I'm going to ask this in the Stumped Forum as the season gets closer to an end but if you have any 15 or 16 year olds with high potential but low current ability with decent fielding potential (10+ at a minimum ideally) - would be interested in such a player for the right price. This is from now until start of next season.

In terms of batting potential 42+ ideally, maybe 40/41 if especially attractive fielding potential and nice batting characteristics

Low current ability isn't a must but with my budget in mind I know its unlikely I get an already well rounded 15 or 16 year old for a fee within my budget which would be 6 figure fees at most.

I am mostly looking for batters - probably 5 across my 2 teams - might be willing to get more and sell 1 or 2 batters I've already signed but 5 at a minimum.

Would also be interested (although this might require an end of season transfer) when I have more funds for a 15 or 16 year old seamer with excellent fielding potential (15+) and 44+ bowling potential.

So obviously having both is good but which do you guys think is more important a good stamina or good fielding?

Fielding is a bonus. Stamina impacts in game performance. Better stamina = better ball quality late into a spell + able to bat well for longer. You probably don't really need stamina for lower-middle order bats as much, but you do require it for bowlers who will give you 10 overs in SODs and wicketkeepers IMO.
