I was just posting the TMOs managed to haul it all back to a manageable total but it would be a tough chase... then loose Levy first ball.

So I repeat.
Between yesterday T20 and todays friendly against FHK the TMOs have smashed some mirrors, walked under some ladders and driven over a black cat...

GG lost a tough match today.

Bowled out for 141, but a spirited bowing effort wasn't enough...had them 35 for 5 at one stage.

Lost by 3 wickets.

Xenos with 10-4-10-2
The other bowlers were economical as well. Slow grind.

We sit on 2nd place, behind Ataraxia

Very tempting to grab Halliday for just $175K, but I do want a more experienced bat for his position as I have Halliday-esque Butler waiting in the wings, at 19. Come on, keep Halliday!

Problem is I have around five players in the same age bracket - Tim Chester, Ghous Ghani, Abdul Younis, Taufeeq Bashir and Ed Halliday. I can't keep them all, that's not smart progression planning. Samra and Shafi Ibrahim can bowl fill the role that Halliday does, so he's probably the one I let go of from that group.

I see - there's a lot of young aggressive batters, and older defensive batters (a bit of a problem, as exp matters more for agg players).

Then again, I'm not really convinced you can't just buy a couple of stop-gaps off the TM for $10K apiece at this point - is Younis really that good? Seems the sort of Badenhorst/Murdoch type high-SS player that perpetually averages 30. His bowling's, ehhh

Younis has performed well tho! Handy second spinner and can anchor at the top of the order. Will get better with exp

Ended up winning this SOD game by the skin of my teeth... new acquisition Boardman holding the tail together with Ncanana after a good half century from captain Kock.

Currently FHK is making it look easy chasing down a modest 241 against the TMOs. Frustrating top order collapse again, but against some very good bowling!

Well done to FHK @cnerd123... real thrashing in the end. Not really close.
I think you mean ZCC, but I understand the confusion. Loads of games happening lol.

ZCC won a CWC6 match! :o Taufeeq Bashir with a career best knock to guide us home vs Dynamo Morpork.

We've also just purchased a 45 pot high acc/var 18 YO BD spinner for relatively cheap. Not sure what to do with him - we've got Tijn Vosloo who is younger and better overall, but this kid is more likely to win us games in the short-medium run. 45 pot Deshi would normally be a Nat prospect too but there are better spinners in his age group ATM so might never get a T20I cap either....

Yes! FHK game is tomorrow morning.

Ended on a good note for TMOs today. Great win against the Wild Geese in CWC6.
Do think from this early part of CWC6 that your TMO side are probably the best bang for buck in terms of EPV. 6th best ratings in division but I'd be surprised if you don't finish in top 4 by the end of it.

Its difficult for me to really say... i`m lucky at the moment because my two best bats and wk are still 20 but have very high skill and some decent experience. Also Coetzee (who is slowly finding touch again) and Jupp add a strong allrounder presence. Coetzee's wickets today an unexpected surprise. Nkumane is already heading into senior team for the experience if nothing else, and seems to be holding his own. Passmore gives top SOD a sides problems. And Watts today was super great, I may have inadvertently got a good one with him, even if he is a finger spinner....

I have lost some powerful components though compared to the beginning of the season... sales and aging out. Just hope I can keep punching above my weight.
