Stumped!

Bit of a collapse at the end against FHK... partly bought about by the pressure situation. But Levy's dropping touch hurting the TMOs at the moment and Coetzee poor form all season continuing. Disappointed Johannes and/or Davidson achieved nothing in the chase. Kock producing a captains innings but not enough in the end.

Descent bowling performance, but Coetzee still a liability at the moment. Nkumane coming along nicely; this was a big test for him.

Welldone to @cnerd123

Was easier back when South Africa Div 1 wasn't all that competitive

Those glory days are long gone.
Far too modest! but i can see why the NAT tournaments become important as once u have been Team WR 1 you are going to need a new mountain to climb (good you chose Bangladesh then!! ) :)

Between yesterday T20 and todays friendly against FHK the TMOs have smashed some mirrors, walked under some ladders and driven over a black cat...

This is still why I get so frustrated with this game... as much as I do love it.

My 28 aged player with 20 plus experience and 40 total skill gets out to a 0/10 ball because he could not handle the pressure! If he had nicked behind to an 8/10 ball, no worries... but he 'rolled badly' on the dice. And this happens much to frequently both for good players getting out at inopportune times and poorer players smashing good balls from good players... I am aware that we all benefit sometimes and it is meant to all even out, but it is frustrating to try build a team when inconsistency plays such a big part. I want to be more certain in knowing that good players will consistently play well game to game and not just rely on the equivalent of random 'dice rolls'.

The reason why this inconsistency becomes 'bad' is that only the truly top teams with sufficient monies can get to a point of having all their top 6/7 players with 40+ real skills (plus normally added fielding/stamina bonus). Whereas the rest of us have one/two players that fit that bill and if you consistently get the 'bad luck' in a game against your best player what do you do then?

Not an easy chase this for FHK. TMO rally from 68/4 to post 210 a/o - Tauya Johannes scoring 56 off 60 coming in at number 7 - and Zach Burger has taken wickets at regular intervals to derail the chase. 166/5 in 35.2 overs now. Tin Yau has just been dismissed, so a lot of pressure on Andy Li and Jamal Madani to see us home.

Tighter game than expected... but cant lose your 3 to 5 for no runs and expect a good result. One of my biggest test here is to see how Nkumane performs and how close he is for the first choice side. Done relatively well... not quite there yet.

Another good win for FHK @cnerd123, thanks for the games.

ZCC absolutely smashed by JCC in a T20. Bowling first on a road didn't pay off, Danial Ahsan spectacular with the bat but no one stuck in with him

I am very happy to have a rematch at your ground Z - you can choose then what demons we face! Yes Ashan was a star for you but no one could dig in and stay with him
