South Africa Domestic Season 2024/25

International Debutant
Not going well for titans. 22/5 vs Boland. Pretorius 6 and brevis 3.

Warriors going ok vs dolphins. 77/1 but a bit slow after 19.3. Bosch and Simelane have been good.

SvB had Brevis caught slip. Surely conditions can't be an issue Paarl with all the sun and wind the Western Cape has had. Beaut of a day at Newlands yesterday.

Hasn't been easy batting in Durban with all the weather that's been around there.

CSA Emerging hopefully gets on the park a bit later if the rain goes away.

Rowles, Phiri & Mbatha still in school & with van Schalkwyk & Soni eligible for the U19 CWC next year.

Breetzke looked a million dollars before being caught short fine-leg.

J Hermann & him bat beautifully together. We will see it for the Proteas one day.

Now Swanepoel is coming out for some fun.

Set to score the highest domestic score in a day game at Kingsmead according to Procter.

Maybe an explanation of conditions in Paarl. Wicket was used a lot for SA20....

Dudgeon got Boast with his seam and is now bowling leg-breaks.

Wouldn't that apply to all the grounds in div A bar north west and free State? Or bigger problem in Paarl?

Just think it's naturally slow, low and turning conditions there. So it's possibly exaggerated with use and the weather. It's something if they were a test ground would need to be able to work around and balance.

Too reliant on Linde and Moore for runs and no genuine fast bowlers coming through.
Yup. Should get Bedders, Verreynne and Mpongwana back for next game hopefully.

Kitime hasn't done anything. Bird is not kicking on. Smith hasn't had a great season. Bedja started promisingly but I'm not sure he will be this level. Nabe is Nabe.

Kitime is a waste. Bird and Smith need kick up the behind. Bedja only a 4 dayer option atm. Nabe is a good div 2 player or club player . We have zero African players of any class barring Tony.

We don't seem to produce BA players and don't seem to want to recruit either. Which is crazy when you have to have 3 in your XI.
