South Africa Domestic Season 2024/25

A story that snuck under the radar. Magala signed for the Titans this season but still hasn't played a game and failed another fitness test. He hasn't played a professional game in 16 months. Titans patience wearing thin.

Can't keep their houses in order and they wonder why so many other unions have passed them by. Both of them were part of the top table in our cricketing history before.

WP squad taking on the Lions tomorrow.

Verreynne & Mpongwana should join for 2nd game.

No idea if Burger makes it back before the end of the season.

No Bird, J James, Bayoumy & Whitehead (who scored 84 for the Colts v EP yesterday)

Even with injuries. You guys have had depth and why you've done well in recent seasons.

Excited to see more of Romashan Pillay. He is in great form and showing gears I didn't think he had.
I have seen a little of him. Don’t think his bowling will be more than useful at best but his batting has surprised me.

He is much like Oli Whitehead at WP. Middle order and seam-bowling contributer.

The last U19 CWC cycle it was about Pretorius, Stolk, Teeger, Seletswane, Marais, James, Luus and Maphaka mainly.

But Pillay and Whitehead have stepped into men's cricket and taken their few chances. They seem to be able to rise to the greater challenge which is positive about their mentality.
