I'll be reffing my young bloke's home games this year again. Last time I refereed the team they're playing against today, one of the opposition players left the field in tears at my response to his mouthing off at me.A-League refs, seriously. That ref tonight really was absolutely hopeless. Glory can feel robbed again this season as they were last season IMO. For mine, the league isn't going to get any better with the quality of the refs that are on show week on week.
I did some reffing as a teenager (13-14), worst experience. Only did u6s and 7s on the tiny fields. The kids didn't care, they were having a blast running around chasing a ball, the parents were savage though. Expletives galore over throw in calls in front of six year olds.I'll be reffing my young bloke's home games this year again. They were abject. Fairtale season but a very poor performance made the night a bit of a fizzer. They were never in it.Disappointing the Wanderers couldn't finish their season off in grand style, but well deserved byt he Mariners. Were the better team, and seem a decent bunch of blokes led by a top bloke as coach.
Atmosphere looked flat out incredible.
Australia are pretty poor in comparison to last to WCs and will be lucky to qualify in front of some very average oppositionWell that was a ****ing anticlimax.
