Yeah, and got an Umpiring let-off to boot.
Nonetheless, can't say I'm all that sorry by my usual standards. He played well enough to reach 72 anyway and already had a century by the time of the bad n\o.
He doesn't "deserve" them any more than anyone else does, but hopefully they might help free him up to produce more regular performances of excellence.

Congrats to Haddin though, he didn't look too convincing at the Gabba, so I wasn't really too confident, a very good unexpected innings yesterday, should see the pressure now only on the QLDers Hayden and Symonds oh and Hauritz, lol.

On the subject of Qlanders, I don't suppose you'd fancy doing a breakdown of how many Aussie domestic players are currently playing for their home states (ie, those where they were brought-up regardless of where they were born or who else they may have played for) and how many are playing for others (ie, that they've moved to as an adult whether or not this decision was made for cricketing or other reasons).

Absolutely, not taking anything away from Haddin.
My post was just in frustration as a NZ supporter. Although I feel less unhappy about that now, with our batting today it would have made no difference if the deficit had been 100 lower.
