Sheffield Shield Fantasy: Round 7

Group B had a tight round with adubbers nudging ahead at the finish thanks to our boi Patters. morgieb extends his lead as Gnske continues to be rather hobbled by injuries. Dan has a solid round despite not including Hogan or Triffitt in his squad.

In Group A, Riggins won the battle of the autopilots solidly with only six players and I pushed slightly ahead in the group by virtue of my luck with injuries. Marcuss had a good round considering an injury depleted team, while PEWS continued to have his younger players posting big numbers.

For next round, I'm wondering whether they'll release SMarsh and Sayers early as the shield round starts the day after the Test (which I doubt will go to the 5th day)

Also,

I've been scoring off Cricket Australia scorecards and then finalising scores with Cricinfo. This is because Cricinfo has tended to have less mistakes than CricAus.

This round had three discrepancies, only one of which I confirmed - Dunk was caught, not bowled (CricAus correct)

The others:
Rohrer 1st innings - Caught by Klinger or Whiteman
Dunk 1st innings - Caught by Renshaw or Hemphrey

I went with Cricinfo on both of those. I'll change them is someone points me the other way.

I can definitely confirm that Rohrer was caught by Klinger at first slip as there is a replay that confirms this. There is no replay for the Dunk dismissal - someone should ask him on twitter.

Thanks NUFAN, I'll change that.

The one I saw was Lynn getting caught, rather than bowled by Dunk (mistyped above).

I also saw a clip with Dunk getting caught in slips, I think, but I can't really tell Queenslanders apart on streams.

Man I hope Moises makes a miraculous recovery, otherwise the c00ps dropping means I can't field an XI.

sux for me.

I banked on Maxy not being in the test side, now they pull him up from a Shield game just to carry some drinks? Fuggin Siddle can do that much with his dodgy back can't he?

Yeah, it is pretty stupid. Should have pulled some random gun fielder.

I assume they want him around the team in anticipation of adding him for Sri Lanka: marinate him in the Test culture, baste him TPC fidgety leadership, sous vide him in Lehmann's blokey aphorisms. I need some lunch.
