Saeed Ajmal reported for chucking

You can't. There is not a hope of finding the flexion of bowlers to any small, precise rounded number in-match.

I'd be surprised if you could get it to a rounded figure of more than 10 degrees. That is, 0-10, 10-20, 20-30 (I'd hope precious few bowlers ever go more than that in-match).

Saeed Ajmal's bowling action is perfectly alright!!!
atleast now ICC has cleared him lol

??????????????????????
????????????????????????
Looks like clarifications are in order.

It was the ICC Technical committee that came with the new "law" on what constitutes a thrown/illegal delivery. I had written here, on this forum then that we will see an increase in number of youngsters with suspect action and in the last two-three years have been stunned at the kind of bowling actions I have seen in club nets in Delhi and Bombay.

I think the cricket committee headed by Gavaskar is directly responsible for this.

The things are two dimensional and three dimensional. For certain bowlers we need special glasses to see their actual action.

In ur opinion more and more three dimensional bowlers in the domestic circuit ?

Steady on chaps, the verdict wasn't exactly a complete vindication. Dave Richardson said,

"Ajmal can continue to bowl in international cricket on the basis he uses an action consistent to that used in the latest independent analysis of his action."

which to my reading means he must bowl in anger how he bowled in the lab to avoid a retesting.

If his action was clean why was it reported as suspicious in the first place then? It's like saying James Anderson chucks it, when he clearly doesn't. If there is hints of doubt then something usually isn't ok.

i can't beleive it, it means he will not bowl with the action he used in lab, he will be checked again in the lab & he will bowl again the same he did last time in lab

That's why it is called an illusion.

"An illusion is a distortion of the senses, revealing how the brain normally organizes and interprets sensory stimulation. While illusions distort reality, they are generally shared by most people.["

by the way Saeed Ajmal has only few years left at International level
maybe 3 or 4 at most
so doesn't matter alot
but he's good in ODI'S & T20
he'll be useful in 2011 world cup along with Afridi & Abdul Rehman(if he's selected)
