8 of Algeria's squad are French youth internationals. France 'B' would be a more appropriate monicker.

Me neither. If he did mean it, however, I'd say it was largely down to an enormous amount of good fortune. Not a piece of mercurial skill, as Andy Townsend professed.

Really don't see the relevance. The two football teams associated with African nations who may or may not have players exclusively born and raised in Africa. There you go.

Some of the better Algerian players have little to do with France anyway, Slimani for example.

Can't help but love Algeria. They really fought and fought for that. Did a far better job of things than England did against Germany at this stage 4 years ago.
