Road to the 2017-18 Ashes in Australia

So Australia have abandoned their recent need to shoe-horn an all-rounder into the side ? As has been mentioned earlier, going in with only four bowlers seems a very bold policy given the injury history of two of them. Who's first in line to get a bowl if Cummins breaks down half-way through his second spell?

I didn't ever really notice the lack of all rounder. It makes Maxwell's/Cartwright's droppings even more stupid. What the **** does Shaun Marsh offer that Maxwell doesn't except the probability of breaking down at a really inconvenient time after scoring five scores under 20.

Having Paine, Darsh, Cummins and Starc all getting injured at the same time would have fabulous humor to it. Got to give the selectors that.

How many blokes have had eight recalls in a major sorting career? Fmd even NSW Origin selectors haven’t done that. Yet.

Cricket Australia Facebook page comments are great. Always ends up full of Indians and Pakistan fans arguing about something completely unrelated to the article. Occasionally there will be a comment by an Australian.
