So he can score Test centuries against the best bowling attack in the world (Australia), be Man of the Series in the Ashes and still not be good enough to get a state game in Australia?

Why, because he is not Australian? 8-)
No, because the person making the statement has the tenacity (and the mental capacity, it seems) of a limpet.

Australian players can do up their own shoelaces, Vaughan would not be required.

Its only the english team that needs someone to tell them where to stand when the bowler bowls, most players allready know where to field for which bowler.

Your deliberate and moronic flaming is quite pathetic, and does no-one any credit at all, least of all you. No matter how many times you are slapped for behaving like a jerk (I see you tried it on with some Indian supporters earlier today), you keep coming back and try it on again.

Why? Are you a total idiot?

A total idiot that would be Vaughan he a bit of a idiot when it comes to batting.

ODI average avg 24 thats what you call idiotic, still its probably the best you can do.

Ricky Ponting has been the captain of this tournament. He will be the man lifting the trophy . Tactically, he has been superior to any rival.

This will be the front page of the papers at the end of the tourney.

Vaughan best ironed whites again.

Interesting to note how "Super Skipper" has allowed NZ to get almost 200 from 89-7!
Negative captaincy, not knowing which bowlers to use and when, not going for the kill, poor field placement and a general, lackadaisical approach.

Those were his good points.

Actually Ponting has not been terrible in this match. To take a side to 128/8 is brilliant. Letting the last two wickets take NX a further 70 runs is obviously not great, but honestly, England and NZ have done this many a time, and it ain't the captains fault.

You think I'm being serious? Just humouring Scallywag on his last day on CricketWeb

Ponting is smarter than you think.

He let the noose off NZ a bit so he could get a bat, its pretty hard to get a bat in the Aussie team even if you do get selected.

NZ could of done with a Vaughan type solid 24 off 78 balls.

Funnily enough, someone predicted that's exactly the type of statement you would make.

Incidentally, how much did Ponting pay Steve Bucknor for those dreadful LBW decisions?

Sure , and the reason India have been playing so poorly is beause Ganguly wants to surprise everyone else in this tournament when no one gives them a chance .Why waste good form on unimportant matches when you can save it up for the really big ones?

Brilliant !

Unfortunately I predicted you would use that one when you play SL. I lose

If Bucknor wants to keep umpiring he knows what to do.
Watch the Aussies use their pads and get away with it now.
You can pick a supporters of Vaughan, they allways blame the umpire.

And you'll next tell us that getting 14 was his aim for this game as well... 8-)

Must say you're nothing if not predictable.

Great use of English there.

Looking forward to the Semi anyway, seeing as Ponting averages a magnificent 10.50 in them.

So thats five games in a row that Ponting has beaten the second best ODI team.
India used to be but Ponting smashed them out of contention.

superkingdave did you know that Ponting has not been beaten in a final series in the last Eight finals. You probably dont watch finals games but you should because thats where Australia play best.

But I think Sri Lanka might be where you stop watching this time.
