I guess David Warner is an ATG Batsmen now, you play half your matches at home.
Averaged 44.5 after playing a disproportionate amount of his games (more than half) on home pitches that were by and large very flat. The true people who get boosts to ATG status under that very reasonable doctrine are Jayawardene, MoYo, Compton, Chanderpaul, etc.

kinda reminds me of someone not having a ton in England or India after 29 attempts, as I said, the David Warner of Bowling.
Yeah I got harassed for it in the past but Ashwin flat out sucks in SENA overall, we can say that definitely now that his career is over.

Warner at home had very batter friendly wickets, Ashwin at home had very spinner friendly wickets, their away records are terrible in comparison to their general career average, both were match winners at home. Ashwin had some decent work in Australia, Warner had some ATG work in South Africa yada yada yada, that's why I make the analogy.

Oh don't mind me, I only wrote that post to troll you on Compton and Chanderpaul.

To end the note on, everyone preaching about Ashwin's home record, better come out and vote Warner as an elite ATVG Batsmen at the very least whenever there's a Warner thread next time, all I'm saying.

Did Warner Averaged 40+ in India or won matches regularly in England with a high output???

Ashwin did neither so it's fine.
Averaged 28 in England, was one of our 3 main equally good bowlers in 2020 BGT (and a great performance in 2018), with a 5 WPM in completely dead for spin pitches; Lyon averages the same on those games but with 6 less wickets. Just averages are misleading for him in Australia.
