Heres a simple way to look at it: if I switch Ashwins home country, in several cases he may not even end up as a great.

Willis is going to be pretty quality regardless of his home country.

"Why is Willis closer to Harbhajan, if his average is closer to Ashwin?"
That method already assumes that Ashwin is better than Willis.

this is very true, Ashwin basically did what Sajid and Noman are doing in Pakistan over the last two serieses with pitches prepared via heaters and greenhouses, but he did it for longer

These people just don't understand that a player plays more than half of his matches at home, So getting rid of home performance is just wrong.
