Eddie I don't think it's fair to simply skip the person above you's opinion. It's just the way the game works, they if they get their first then they're the one's who pick the next player and stuff.

If it took you 4-11 minutes to post a reply or to think of Styris then you're forgiven :D

underrated- thank god I got here in time

Gary Sobers :p
ewww... too difficult

I'm going to say overrated on the whole. Some people underrate him others overrate him by compraing him to Bradman. It's a difficult one though, as he was an amazingly good player and certainly an all-time great. I feel so bad now though!

Graeme Pollock
Underrated by most of the world who never really got a chance to see him play in his prime. By the time the rebel sides arrived he was nearly 40 i think.

overrated, same as Sobers :p

Shaun Pollock
Underrated now. A few years ago he was rated as one of the best pacers in the world and rightly so. He has dropped off a bit but I still think he's slightly underrated as a bowler, but definitely underrated for his batting.

Hamish Marshall

lol, that is so weird. Honestly, I did not say Shaun Pollock because the previous one was Graeme Pollock, it did not even occur to me.

Mills is a fixture in the NZ ODI side so he at least deserves a rating.
Hey, I was just correcting Adam. Regardless of what I think of Mills (and I haven't seen him enough to think anything really), I was just stating that he is rated rather well by many around these parts.

And rightly so, although his death bowling is absolutely abysmal. I always worry when we go in to the last 10 overs with Mills still having some overs left. He is very good at the start of the innings though.

Anyway, as for Hamish Marshall...tough one. At his best he is very good, a lot better than many people give him credit for, and fast between the wickets and a top fielder, so despite his terrible recent form I'd have to say he's a bit underrated.

Ramnaresh Sarwan.

If Sarwan is considered an inconsistent yet talented batsman, he's rated about right. Anyone who thinks that he's a world class TEST batsman as yet is giving him too much credit. He is, however, an under-rated ODI batsman and perhaps under-rated by many as a bowler, including his captain.

Ian Bradshaw.

It did - the missus brought my breakfast in and I simply forgot to press enter.

It wasn't intentional, despite what some may think.

He is a more then usefull all rounder atleast for ODI's, who can forget CT final man :) .

Peter Kirsten.
rated right, I think. I mean, he never got enough internationals to make a proper judgement.

Continuing this "all in the family" tradition...

Just admit it, you fell asleep. You've got a history of falling asleep on here (ask sledger) and you're decrepit anyway so we'll all understand.

You're not too far wide of the mark - at least regarding the 'decrepit' bit.

Ray Price is hard to call... he's overrated by certain people, but underrated by many as he is simply forgotten. I'd go for underrated overall.

Mark Taylor?
