Its just in the script to make it one of the most special matches.

Also did you see that drinks signal by Bowden? Awesome.

He's fielding..12th/13th man or whatever.

They should have put his name on a shirt and auctioned it with the rest.

Those auctions are going crazy though...the coin tossed at the start of the match is going for almost $300,000! Warnes shirt $132,0000

Sangakarra out...:(

Bring on the Ponting/Hayden bowling duo..should be worth a few $1,000 :)

( I don't care who wins, I just want Asia to get close so they earn more sponsors $'s )

A question regarding the sixes. If one ball is left in the match and two runs are required to win, should the team go for the two runs or the sixes? Considering the result is irrelecent and 50,000 would be so useful, I would go for tryin to hit the six. And considering its official ODI, would that amount to match manipulation charges by the ICC!?

Unlikely situation but getting maximum momeny is the most imprtant priority from this match. Official ODI or not.

I'd be stunned if the ICC took any action over anything that would (potantially) bring in more $'s.

( such as bringing on Ponting/Hayden to bowl...)

NB, only the first 10 6's get 50,000..and they have 7 so far IIRC.

Steve Waugh did hint that there could be a few balls tossed up a bit if they're falling short of the 10.

That would be splendid. I think he indicated some batsmen may try for the sixes despite their valuing ODI records and said nothing about tosing the balls in the interview with Nicholas.
