I started following this team in 1993. I couldn’t even imagine this even two years ago. This makes up for 2019.

WE can analyze and fight all we want, but the best message of all today is how KW felt 2 years ago and how he would be feeling today. Hoping nice people across the world can have such days all the time. Well done Kane, well done Ross, well done NZ and once again, congrats with all my heart to all NZ fans here. You guys are some of the best here and really happy this became your first real world championship win. Amazing!!!

We shouldn't expect any silverware as long as Panauti is the captain. Don't expect much in WT20 and ODI WC 2023 also. He doesn't even have self-respect to resign.

NZ have won 2 ICC trophies (2000+2021). Both against IND ?

What a comprehensive and well deserved victory in the end. Worthy Test cricket champions. Truly remarkable how good this side is, even more insane given the population.

Regardless of what happens in the future with the WTC (and I love it - hope it continues), the fact that NZ were the first official Test Champions is a huge historical achievement that will have a prominent place in cricket history.
