Moooo
Ah, good to see Mr. Nihadas getting some love from the crowd.
Yeah, after that screamer to remove Rohit he's shelled two. Normally very safe pair of hands in the slips. Not sure why Latham isn't in there.Isn't that the second catch Southee has dropped this game? Does he not usually field at slip?
So much for the commentators building up Kohli why he didn't take as night watchman, how he looks forward to these challenges, very positive etc... I think they should stop hyping up the man. He is a gun player but not indispensable like they make him out to be.The word I would use to describe those wickets is tentative. India just looked so tentative. At least these two seem to have made up their minds to play a certain way.
He is indispensable to this side definitely though. In NZ and English conditions doubly so.So much for the commentators building up Kohli why he didn't take as night watchman, how he looks forward to these challenges, very positive etc... I think they should stop hyping up the man. He is a gun player but not indispensable like they make him out to be.
Southee hardly ever drops anything in the slips. Pretty sure Taylor spills the most and he's a pretty good set of handsInteresting stat that Southee has a higher catching % in the slips than Latham (think it was 91 v 85%), although as Atherton says that is the 3rd this summer. Latham's catching has been sensational this game.
