So it will be

Australia are without Perry too, on top of their other fitness concerns and missing players

Indian women have played out of their skins so far

Should be a couple of interesting games

If not South Africa, weather might knock hosts out of the WC on Thursday.

If the semis get washed out here, it will be a second consecutive World Cup farce after what happened in the men's ODI final.

Ridiculous. Who comes up with these rules? Progress based on group positions makes reasonable sense (although more in respect of a tied match than a total washout - for which there should be other provisions) when there the group has involved both teams. But not when there were separate groups and each has had to play different teams as a result!

Cricket authorities - lacking of a brain since (at least) 1992.

if you have two groups and the semi finals get abandoned, it's pretty common sense that the top of each group will proceed to the final

don't know why they didn't arrange for a reserve day tho. They've invested so much into this tournament, surely a reserve day wouldn't have been one cost too many?

They did not have enough time in the calendar with all those 5-day tests?
