It was only revived a couple of years back IIRC.How in the world has it taken 20 years for the Women's thread to finally bring up the ton??
It was the bowlers in both games which set it up for SL. Or rather it may have been more the woeful English batting which did it. Bouchier's run out of Capsey would be unfair to compare to Village. Jones needs to be dropped (not sure why Heath wasn't given an opportunity), Knight shouldn't play T20 anymore. It also goes to show how dependent they are on NSB, Ecclestone and Bell.England got Chamari'd but once again there were contributions from others as well, particularly other bowlers. Good signs.
Or not. Charlie Dean put paid to that. She's developing into a really fine cricketer.Sri Lanka maybe thankful today's game is shortened to 31 overs, utter carnage from NSB and Bouchier.
She certainly is, the other real finds of the Summer have been Filer and Gaur. With the retirements of Brunt and Shrubsole, it's good to see we have a strong battery of fast bowlers now. Also, Bouchier looks to have nailed down the batting spot that Dunkley was wasting.Or not. Charlie Dean put paid to that. She's developing into a really fine cricketer.
