Well they had a chance to get into this batting order, drop, no ball, another drop later, might have seen that chance sail

Pitch looks pretty dry, a lot of balls seeming to hold up in the surface. 160+ will be a challenge.

EDIT: Of course if Ash Gardner stays in a few overs they'll get that with ease.

The bowlers have done ok, but the fielding has been utterly atrocious. 2 drops and a missed stumping to go with too many misfields to count. Only chance of chasing this down is if Smriti gets going.

Starting to wonder if they were deliberately dropping Lanning as she is less explosive at the death.

McGrath doesn't score easy runs. She thrives when Aus are in a hole, which doesn't happen often anyway.

Not quite sure why Lanning was trying to hit everything on the onside when there are no boundary fielders on the offside

EDIT: Well okay if you get a massive full toss then sure

Yeah, just waiting for those knee high leg stump full tosses. I wouldn't even say Aus batted that well here, but India were so abysmal in the field it didn't matter.

Yeah Lanning really struggled to get to terms with how slow the pitch was. But if you don't actually hit the pitch then it hardly matters.
