England should pension KSB off after this tournament. You have Wong and Kemp in the wings.
Yeah looks that way, not sure why she was worth quite so much in the IPL, but possibly best she concentrates on that now.

Not been a great tournament so far, close finishes is what Limited overs cricket is all about, and there have been precious few. Hopefully the knock-out stages give us something better, but if the Aussies just steam-roller the competition it's going to be a flop unfortunately.

Four, one, four, 5 needed off two balls and the camera pans around to various fielders looking depressed, out bowled.

5 needed from one, or four for a tie.

Throws down leg, miss, and they just manage to avoid the overthrows for five leg byes, so that's a first win in 16 T20Is.

Watching a replay at the moment - fantastic performance across the board. Knowing they're capable of playing like this just makes the two dreadful defeats in our first two games all the more disappointing. :(

We've known from the start of the tournament that really there was only one group game of proper interest, which would decide who would lose to Australia in the semi final. That India couldn't beat (or really get that close) to England despite one bowler taking 5-15 shows there's still a gap there. It looks like only England have the strategy or power to challenge Australia. The English spinners could yet cause an upset if they get the right pitch.

Glad to see South Africa back in contention. Sad when the host does badly. If they can't beat Bangladesh then they don't deserve anything. In theory India could get knocked out if they are flogged by Ireland.

In theory.....but the semis now very much looking like Aus v India and Eng v SA.

Yeah sadly over-reliant on 2-3 batters and if they fail it gets very ugly. Helpful that Bezuidenhout made a score vs SL.

Obv Australia women are a million miles ahead of NZ women, but should have done a lot better again SA who look like they'll go through to the semis.

England should get plenty here - on for 180 plus - after an over that featured full toss for boundary, two waist high no balls off a spinner, and the wicketkeeper dropping the ball onto their own glove to give away five penalty runs. Pakistan on the way out of the tournament by straight up bursting into flames

England showing why they are the one team who could maybe unsettle the Aussies, and will surely start as massive favourites to beat SA in the semi.
