Yeah well I hope you of all people have learnt something from this test match!!It was bloody great. Well done Root. (Said in my best Caribbean accent) ''Gary Sobers like''.
I am starting to warm to the Root era.
Hey remember how you said you wished it was pissing down in Dhaka so you could watch this match instead?Yeah well I hope you of all people have learnt something from this test match!!
Yes I did. I learnt that Foxtel are stupid ****s, and even though I pay my $60 per month I still have to resort to **** streams to watch cricket.Hey remember how you said you wished it was pissing down in Dhaka so you could watch this match instead?

Cricket broadcasting is stupid in general and is killing the sportYes I did. I learnt that Foxtel are stupid ****s, and even though I pay my $60 per month I still have to resort to **** streams to watch cricket.
I did and I did.Cricket broadcasting is stupid in general and is killing the sport
But you had a chance to watch BD beat Australia live. Lucky ****
Oi I live in the home of the Biggest Party In Cricket*, I should be able to watch whatever cricket I want to watchBut as for your cricket watching.......you can't move to friggin Hong Kong and expect to have all the cricket to watch you want FFS.
I actually didn't watch much of it beyond the days 1 and 2 highlights. Durham v Derbyshire is on. I have not really watched much of the English test season.Yeah well I hope you of all people have learnt something from this test match!!
Fair point, either of them could be dropped. I would go for Powell because he looks like a walking wicket against Anderson and it would be nice to have an attacking opener like Hety to accompany Kraigg. I think it's all moot to be honest as the batting lineup will stay the same.If either of powell or k hope are to be dropped for shimron then why would it be powell? At least he has looked capable of getting to 25
Agreed! It's another case of talent unfulfilled. One of the reasons they brought him back soon after his return from baseball was to add some experience to the side, but they still have to score runs and he hasn't. I prefer Hety in the middle order but Kyle Hope opened for T & T so could slot up the order with Hety coming in at 3.Powell hasn't made a test 50 in 15 matches, since 13 Nov 2012. In this period he's averaged 20.28 (and gone on a baseball sabbatical).
To be fair to him he's clearly one of the better WI batsmen in domestic cricket, hitting 3 centuries in the one day competition in 16/17 (K Brathwaite and S Hope are the only others to score multiple with 2 each), but he only scored at 28.50 with 2 50's in 8 games in the 4-day competition (as opposed to K Hope who scored at 50, and even Chandrika averaged more than Powell).
Apart from the century he made in the tour match he's been abjectly terrible in the long form of the game for a long time and at 27 I don't think he's a long term prospect for WI.
Asafa was pretty good though.....It's crazy how many mediocre Powells the Windies have produced over the years
Remember Ricardo
