i may have mentally got him confused with Devendra BishooThis is not true. Permaul’s always been very good.
Yeah, Bishoo’s decline was not great. He wasn’t utilized well by Holder.i may have mentally got him confused with Devendra Bishoo
It is a mystery tbh. He stuggled a little on his first test call ups but wasn't too bad. He was never given a run and then randomly fell behind Warrican despite outbowling him at every opportunity he was given. This is not true. Permaul’s always been very good.
A lot of things got lost in transit from India to British Guiana… you’d expect some names to change their spelling. Why does Veerasammy's (Original form Veerasami) surname is "Permaul" instead of "Perumal"? I can understand first name undergoing anglicasation. He is definitely south Indian in descent.
I would be very very impressed if they get a lead like thatExcellent day and well negotiated by Braithwaite and Blackwood too. I didn't see the Lanka innings so not sure how the pitch is but it would be great for west indies to really bat well tomorrow and try to post 300 +
I could name pretty much every team in the world in the last few years who collapse regularly except maybe nz and India.once West Indies get the wobbles, they fall like a house of cards.
like apple crumble falling to little bits and pieces...
they are mentally very very weak.
having said that they still have a big chance in this test.
There's a lot of surnames among the Indians in the Caribbean that I've never seen before. I always wanted to know why they ended up with these names and how they came to be, but I see SillyCowCorner's onto something by pointing out it was the British who registered the names. Why does Veerasammy's (Original form Veerasami) surname is "Permaul" instead of "Perumal"? Believe so…So I guess there's no way to watch this other than illegal stream?
Having said that, it was British who registered Tamil names of Sri Lanka too. But they have retained their original form. May be distance and hence feed back from South India may have played a part. There's a lot of surnames among the Indians in the Caribbean that I've never seen before.
