Agree, needs to top of off it a little more.Don’t mind a leg slip but it sometimes encourages blokes to bowl a bit short. Theres real value for wood pitching it up at this pace
Having a breather now anywayAgree, needs to top of off it a little more.
I have no idea why they didn't review it, looked very adjacent....and so it proved. In fact, not sure why the umpire didn't give it either.Bashir LBW last over was out on review apparently.
Quite a muted appeal. Strange incident.I have no idea why they didn't review it, looked very adjacent....and so it proved. In fact, not sure why the umpire didn't give it either.
I think because visually it gave the impression of going down legside with how McKenzie played it.I have no idea why they didn't review it, looked very adjacent....and so it proved. In fact, not sure why the umpire didn't give it either.
I wonder if a more experienced bowler/keeper combo might have offered a stronger appeal to Stokes. If that was Broad, I think we know what happens.....Quite a muted appeal. Strange incident.
Can only think he was mentally shaken up by Wood's pace as those were two horrible shots in a row out of nowhere. That's just terrible cricket. Soft, soft dismissal.
Yeah it’s something they all look to do regularly these days. I don’t remember it being anywhere near as common to change the ball back in the day. I mean, teams still tried it but the umps seemed stricter on allowing itThe fact bowlers are entitled to get the ball changed when it isn't hopping around corners isn't a great advert for the old "it's a batsman's game" live.
He’s classy when he’s in and going. Looks a top tier player.Yeah Kraigg's looking terrific here. Handled Wood superbly.
