lol, what happened? I look away for five minutes and Curran and Butler are gone and England still aint made 450?

You suck at dominating when on top, England.

21 overs to go today, won't get all those in with the change of innings but if you're going for one spell from each end you'd like to get a few more runs still.

From Wiki:

Accrington is a former centre of the cotton and textile machinery industries. The town is famed for manufacturing the hardest and densest building bricks in the world, "The Accrington NORI" (iron), which were used in the construction of the Empire State Building and for the foundations of Blackpool Tower; famous for Accrington Stanley F.C. and the Haworth Art Gallery which holds Europe's largest collection of Tiffany glass.

tbf, I think Bumble might be the most famous thing from Accrington.

Ambrose on TMS sounds like he's about to jump off a bridge. "The good thing is, the end is near."

In response to that parried six, ftr.

Great little stand that. They presumably knew that the declaration was going ot be coming for six, and lifting the total from 430 to 470 seems like it could make a big difference if they are trying to enforce a follow-on.

The wheels really came off there, didn't they?

Kemar's (non) catch was bad enough, but Shannon's attempted run out was Keystone Copsesque.

Anyway, very jolly little last wicket stand that.

For once the batting has to get us out jail, rather than the bowling. Can't say I'm particularly confident.

Still, fantastic effort by the bowlers to hang in there when everything was against them. Windies teams of 2004 to 2015 would have been all over the place for most of today if they had been in the same circumstances.

Get Bess on.

I did laugh when Woakes was out first ball having moved ahead of Curran in the batting order, given all the debate on here the last test they played together.
