Would be an upgrade tbh. Good at home, pedestrian away but can bat..Curran has got something about him. May well be a long term #7 or #8 for England after Anderson is done.
Let's see. This team fights much harder than their predecessors. That might not be enough but I don't think they'll just roll over.Curran got that Ben Stokes X-factor. Should have two wickets to his name.
Can't see WI hanging around much tomorrow. They look tired and dejected.
Haha, I'd forgotten Stokes batted 8 in that series. Think he literally averaged 0, mind.Nah.. kid will learn to reverse or something. He finds a way, and has that spark about him. I remember thinking that way about Stokes in 2014 when he was batting at 8 and playing as a frontline seamer against us.

You?re talking about Elton Chigumbura
Putting it kindly, looks like it could rain all day, a few hours ago the Met Office suggested there could be a shower around 1pm on Sunday - it seemed isolated but just checked and that seems unlikely now but even if there are no interruptions on Sunday if it rains all day tomorrow this is the match position with 2 days to go. Then pressure on West Indies batsman not just for pride but bat out the day on Day 4 and you are past the follow on target - pressure then on England to get quick runs it'll be interesting if the top 3 remains the same if West Indies are bowled out with deficit of 170/180. 120 in 25 overs by England on Day 5 perhaps, even then you are giving yourself 2 sessions to ensure West Indies don't retain the Wisden TrophyDraw has come in considerably since this afternoon, it's at 2.87 at the time of writing. Weather doesn't look good for tomorrow unfortunately.
