*Official* West Indies Tour of England 2020

Woodster

International Captain
Interesting that the new ball is still being taken. I appreciate the ball is still swinging and it?s more difficult to get the old ball away for boundaries giving Holder the requisite control. He?s presumably waiting for a wicket before taking it and then attacking the new bat, it?s a reasonable strategy.

Problem with that is these two batsmen are bedding in again and when they take the new ball they may be well set and Stokes may score very quickly. Still plenty to be optimistic about from a bowling perspective though.

Excited to see how Sibley goes in Aus during the 2021 ashes. He absolutely killed it during the lions tour earlier this year.

Stokes needs to settle down and Sibley needs to rotate the strike. You just feel the next wicket will be a gift

Not had much luck at all this morning. Cricketing Gods definitely not on our side with 20 plays and misses in the first hour.

Yesterday was poor but I think they've been quite good today.

I don't really know why I thought Sibley might speed up today
Clearly he's read the criticisms of his strike rate but misinterpreted and thought "yeah, I was probably forcing the pace too much yesterday, better dial it back a bit"
