From another thread, we were told this earlier today.
Call me a cynic but the proof of the pudding will be in the eating, and I'm not so sure this squad will turn out to be a cordon bleu dish...
To be honest you'd have to be pretty dumb to relate what i said in that post to the squad the SELECTORS have selected for the tour of SL!!

, the board and the selectors are two different things, like i said before the board set up the youth academy with English coaches leading it, brought back the A-team, got ESPN to air our T20's, have got strict with players taking the p/ss with their fitness i.e Sarwan and Deonarine, they communicate with the fans via facebook and are are talking to sponsors about getting a new shirt deal, plus we now get live radio and video coverage of our regional games.
What Clyde Butts (the head of the selectors) and his pals do is all together a different thing, if we end up getting embarrassed them they will be the ones to blame, as for the team, Butts said the plan is to start drawing games at first and when that can be achieved we can focus on winning tests!!, so for the tour of SL they've decided to pack it with some alrounders to sure up our tail, my team would be.
Gayle
Barath
Darren Bravo
Chanders
Nash
Dwayne Bravo
Sammy
Russell
Thomas
Benn/Shilly
Roach
Russell is almost like Pollard down the order but with more control, plus he's a pacer of great promise havng performed so well in England for the A-team recently, Thomas can also bat well too, Benn is banned for the first test so it's likely to be Shilly with Gayle helping him out in the spin department,
I'd be more comfortable with Sarwan in the team but Darren Bravo could be a world beater if he continues to progress so why not give him a chance? th option is still there to call Sarwan and Deonarine for the 2nd test if we lose heavily in the first so i'm not too worried.
