He's probably one of the few West Indies players that could have sparked something in this series. It's gonna hurt them for sure.

I just wanted to say (as irrelevant as it is) that Astle has scored more ODI tons against India then anyone else.

Yeah I saw that the other day whilst doing random Cricinfo stats...pretty damn good if you ask me.

I guess it is relevant. It just go's to show you ... what a great performer he has been for our team + his 90 the other day = should still be in the team (to all the doubters)

chris cairns has retired but if bond is not injured he and vettori can win the series for nz
Isn't a bit of a risk going in with just two players to do just the batting and bowling? Never mind the gaps in the field, and the fact they'd have to swap over the 'keeping pads at the end of each over.

I don't get why they're playing this game in Queenstown? There's nobody at the ground. It doesn't make sense to play in Queenstown now that the holiday season is pretty much over.

NZ's bowling & fielding has been superb so far. West Indies 9/1 after 8.4 overs.

how come they took Franklin off after 3 overs?
I think they feel like they have 3 opening bowlers, so they will take off Franklin, bring on Mason, then put Franklin on after Bond maybe?

28 consecutive dot balls from Bond!, unbelievable.

The pitch looks ok if you ask me, there's no reason why at least 230/240 can't be scored.
