I didn't think I could any more than I did during the first Test, but I <3 Umpire Harper.

Well-played Mr. Morton. Hopefully he'll press on with his form and put some serious pressure on Mr. Sarwan. A couple years ago Morton looked like he would never play professional cricket again, and now he's played an excellent knock for the West Indies in trying times.

Yeah. Sorry about that.
The look on Chanderpaul's face said it all really. It was either keen constipation or utter frustration. Either way, Mr. Harper makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

If oram can get back to some good bowling Franklin/Bond/Oram seems like a good pace attack. I still think Franklin can improve and he will. But he 10x better then martin.

Wow. I went to bed after following about 11-12 overs online and I wake up today and see Franklin had a stormer. 5-44

Millas after his early sucess seems to have dwindled a bit

Morton seems to have put in a great batting session

Mills looked good yesterday and I think was unfortunate to get more wickets. He is certainly better than martin so I think our attack should be Mills, Franklin, Bond, Vettori, Astle for tests with Styris as a backup. I've never liked franklin and he mainly got batsman out because they played stupid shots yesterday. Whats up with Lara? hes looked anything but brilliant.

God, Bracewell. Give it up. Marshall is not good enough on present form to make the lineup. And he's not an opener. I hope the message has gone across during this test.

It's obvious that not all the selectors agree that this is the way to go, too. There was some news report where the person who announced the squad being the same said something to do with it not being his personal preference.

They may as well put Mills and Franklin in as openers. If our openers are eternally cursed to make so few runs, we may as well throw in our "tailenders" to face the new ball.

Completely agree. Two new players in the top 3, and Marshall is obviously out of form in domestic 4-day matches and Tests. Same old problems with the top order... no real surprise, is it? And I think that's the most vexing part for us supporters.

I agree with what the radio commentators were saying with playing tests at home they should pick the domestic batsman who are scoring the runs on these grounds.

Fleming giving Bradshaw the treatment. 14 off four balls in this over so far.

EDIT: And a four! And then a dot ball. Fleming on 39 off 34, 18 off the over.
