In the meantime, Shane Bond showed how truly world class he is. That was outstanding bowling today.
You're telling me. That was just awesome bowling, and I didn't even see him get his second wicket (had to leave at 10 to 5 to go to work). He went past the bat so many times, had superb control of line and length and got a good amount of reverse swing - which surprised me a lot, as I didn't think his action really lent itself to reverse swing. I was tearing my hair out when I left, just couldn't believe that he wasn't getting wickets!! How long did that spell after tea last for? I left after he had bowled 7 I think.

The turning point of the game was probably when Bond sconed Sarwan...though I suppose Astle's dismissal of Gayle was also pivotal.

Is there a day left in this Test then? Because New Zealand really deserve a win IMO. Bond is just incredible.

Oram's back playing in the domestic comp but batting. It'd be great if he replaced Franklin or Martin but I'm not sure about him being a "frontline bowler"?

I think they may drop one or the other and I hope it's Martin.

OK to people from the Caribbean on this forum... Are Jerome Taylor and Fidel Edwards capable of seeing them through? I know Bradshaw can.. but what about these two?

I can't say I've seen either of them and I'm not from the West Indies, but I would definitely say it's 90% on Bradshaw at the moment - Edwards is only twice as good as Martin (if you get my drift), Taylor not too much better. Still, with a bit of grit and determination, anything is possible.

Personally I would say it's more of a question of how well NZ bowl rather than how well the Windies bat.

I'm sure I heard commentators commentating Oram bowling yesterday

Daryl Tuffey still knocking around?, use to like him a lot and his record at home is very impressive.

I don't believe Tuffey has played any games since he got a shoulder injury in Sept 2005, FC / List-A included. At the time of injury, he was playing for NZ 'A' on a tour of Sri Lanka.

Edwards and Taylor going gung-ho at the end. 13 runs off 1.3 overs so far. :p 31 runs to get with one wicket in hand.
