WI with a real chance here, but they wouldn't want to chase anything more than 250, if that. They need another strike, Astle preferably.
Well the cat's among the pigeons now, Astle run out.

Do we have absolutely no idea of how to play test cricket? I know we've been in one-day mode, but our batting approach in this match has been nothing short of stupid.

To be honest, it's getting to the point that I'd rather they play in one day mode... the players are only ever scoring well when they do it at a strike rate of 70+

Need to bring in another opener, clearly H Marshall is not an opener. Why not give Papps another go. He is a specialist opener, also I'm sure Fulton has opened for Canterbury on quite a few occasions. Marshall probably should go back to domestic cricket for a while to gets some runs under his belt and then free up a middle order sport for Vincent who has been scoring some runs. Even give Matt Sinclair another go, he can't do any worse than the players that are already there!

We were talking about the NZ players :p At least, I was.

EDIT: Nice (although slow) partnership coming together (before whoever asks, yes, fine, I'll touch wood). 200 lead almost up, should get to 250 at least.

its all even stevens nz with a 250 lead. But in reality the pitches in NZ dont become unplayable and usually stays consistant especially since we are still on the third day. So Windies have a vgood chance. For me if nz get 285+ = advantage nz

How easy was Ramdin's drop, piece of ****?
That sort of language not being condoned here, it's harsh to call Ramdin that if you are. He did everything right but he just went too far and the ball hit his wrist instead of the palm.

For west indies to win this game.. they will have to get the second highest ever chasing total at eden park ^_^ (And the games not over yet... so who knows.. it might have to be the highest) :D

Hmm, I think the Windies are in with a big chance here. They have all the time in the world. Well 2 days at least.

The West Indies just need to bat sensibly. Time is not a factor so they should just play each ball on it's merits. Also, could be the perfect opportunity for Gayle to get some form.

Very true.. they made a positive start and they should look ahead and chase down the target.. and this would be a perfect way for Gayle and others to show their abilites..
