Think basically Vincent and Papps. But Vincent doesn't want to open. Fair enough. I wouldn't.Loony BoB said:Who else is there in the fray for opening aside from Vincent (isn't allowed to not prefer to open) / Fleming (unlike Vincent, is able to have a preference) / Sinclair (inconsistent) / Papps (I hear his shot selection is poor)? I don't keep up with NZ cricket much.

Fulton to fall shortly and we'll be 45/3....
He'll tell you it was a typo, clearly just hit the 5 and 4 in the wrong order.zinzan12 said:Very close prediction James
I am leaning on wood. Preeeeetttty good bowling to be honest. A bit of nervous looking batting. Astle, Styris, and McCullum are very confident players though, so if they are out quickly, at least if they get out quickly, they won't look nervous about it.Blakey said:Jez,
are you touching wood? Think you're not if wickets keep falling like this.... You're the ultimate jinx.
Is the ball moving a lot in the air or on the pitch or just poor batting?
Nah they should just go for it for a little while, make a nice 150 THEN use the conditions.Blakey said:We should declare and use the conditions.
Funny you should say that. Every time we play anyone apart from Aussie, it get's billed as a series we should win or at least compete in. When it is against Aus, they just have a big thing about how rubbish we are and that we haven't beaten them since 1993/94, and that we have no chance etc etc, like we are completely useless.James said:We're a very average test playing nation, while our media seem to think we're world beaters.
