***Official*** West Indies in New Zealand 2013/14

Ian Smith complaining about Mills not bowling out at the death.

Seriously, Mills must have some serious enchantments cast over these idiots in the comm box.

I think he even mentioned McClenaghan as "experienced"?

He's going to justify it the same way he did Guptills 3 (20)
Yeah, that's my guess as well.

Like Zinzan, I was furious when he decided to bowl first. You're basically giving all control of the match to the opposition.

If they bat really well, you are basically ****ed.
However if you decide to bat first and bat well, they are ****ed. If you don't bat well, you still have a chance to win.

Which often happens when you let the other team rack up a huge total on said road.

It's not exactly a shocker of a result. Well, I'm sure it is for our fearless leader.
Apparently the West Indies put up a big total because McCullum decided to bowl at the toss. It wasn't just poor bowling, and quality batting.

Nah, the West Indies batted brilliantly.

I'm just saying McCullum gave away all the control of the game, when any decent captain would have batted.

Kylole Milols.

Wowsers!!...what a result for the lads :D ...been a terribe time for our cricket and just tonight on the main cricket radio show in the caribbean there were calls for major change and ridicule for the current set of players in NZ!!..but today the guys stood up to be counted. Also one has to mention that this is indeed a second string team and how we've managed to win so convincingly is beyond me ...i guess bodes well for the future...especially when they've scored the highest total in our ODI history aswell (363)

Just to comment on a few players..

Edwards= What a knock from the man...remember these are conditions that are mean to be honest worst nightmare but ever since the two 50s in the tests he appears to be a changed man..I'm really delighted that he's got a ton here and that should cement his place in the test side aswell.

Holder= Anoher impressive performance from the young man and he must be a shoe-in for the test side aswell...he as so much potential and i can't wait to see him alongside Roach

Bravo= Well he played a captains knock there and his batting seems to have dramatically improved..another one who could get back in the test side if he shows he's committed to playng first class cricket for Trinidad.

Miller= i don't rate him that highly but the lad tries hard and his first class stats are outstanding..hopefully he'll gain confidence from this performance

Powell= that knock might buy him a little more time now...he was poor in tests all year but today it clicked for him...needs to come back to the caribbean and perform for Leewards now

All in all we can't complain about drawing this series...especially as it means we retain the trophy...we should go into the t20s in high spirits now and if we can nick that series then we'll have left our mark before the two teams meet again on our turf in may!!.

tbh as so as that chap took the one handed catch for 100k nobody really gave a toss about the game. But can we please drop Mills, he serves this team no purpose whatsoever, he looked like a club bowler today
