fixdWhen you dissect McCullum's career, it really is pretty piss poor.
To be fair, if you're going to concede 360 regularly, having Watling in the middle order isn't going to accomplish anything.Ronchi to save his spot with 30 (20) which won't actually help much.
dunno where this myth about Watling being too slow has come from. Since recall his ODI strike rate has been fine.To be fair, if you're going to concede 360 regularly, having Watling in the middle order isn't going to accomplish anything.
ODI and List A strike rates below 70, perhaps?dunno where this myth about Watling being too slow has come from
When do you consider his recall? West Indies? Still only 71, and probably even lower when only considering his efforts in the middle order.Since recall his ODI strike rate has been fine.
I was honestly furious when I heard we won the toss and bowled. They'll no doubt come up with some feeble excuse about the history at Hamilton or how they've just wanted to test-out bowling first since they'd batting first in the last 2Will this be enough for McCullum's ridiculous "chase no matter what" attitude to come to an end and for common sense to prevail?
Or will he just write off the loss as "oh well, it didn't come off"?
