I'd attribute that more to Flintoff outhinking him. He worried him with the threat of the yorker so his feet were trapped much more than they would generally tend to be.
That's what I was meaning to say.

It was a very poor shot, but the ball before got him out.

Great bowling by Flintoff the ball before to unsettle Lara with the yorker the ball before. Lara's shot was incredibly poor.

As I speak, Sarwan century.
I think that 'unsettling' effect can be attributed to Lara not picking up the ball out of the sightscreen. Even though he turned his head because he couldn't see the ball he still managed to find the middle of the bat. The next shot was poor though - he should have been concentrating on making sure he could sight the ball properly before going for his shots again.

THAT is a hell of a collapse. 7 wickets for 39 runs, apparently.
England lost 7/41 in the first Test. That said, they some 521 runs on the board already. :p

Lol - still doesn't take away the fact that it was also a bad England collapse int he first Test though. Still, we played well overall. :p

personally i do hope that england drop anderson for the next test.....he hasnt improved much since last summer.
its also interesting that there is a bit of swing around, particularly on the first 2 days, just not much seam movement.

I thought he bowled quite well this morning, kept it quite tight when the run rate was over 4 for the innings and should have had Sarwan caught.

that ball didnt really deserve a wicket though.....strangely though hes got plenty of batsman out caught in a similar manner

That is a stupid comment as he blatantly has.

He was unlucky to have a catch dropped this morning, and he was pretty tight.

That ball wasn't amazing - but he forced a bad shot thanks to the good ball before.

no he has not...hes been precisely what he was last summer.

he didnt look like taking wickets at all......precisely why out of all the bowlers he bowled the least.

I thought this morning he looked far likelier than Hoggard to take a wicket, he was pitching the ball up well

and Richie Benaud also said he bowled well

If India hadn't postponed that Bangladesh series, I'd have backed SRT - but 530 in 8 knocks against Australia is a huge ask
i just checked sachins performance aganist AUS recently even though he was having a tough time in australia until the last match.and with lara not reaching 10,000 in this inngs he has now one more inngs. i think may be sachin has a chance if he is some what back to his best.

what is the WI plyers doing aganist giles. basically what he is doing is pitching the ball out side the legstump all that they have to do is just pad him away .but then also as the last wicket that he got the umpires might still give u out
