Needs to get his seam upright more often based on what I've seen.So what does everyone think about Gabriel? would look to see him move the ball away from the right handers and that would really even out his arsenal, he can bowl nice and straight which is good and he can swing it in which is also good but all in all i think he done ok, didn't give much runs away which is a bonus for a pacer these days, tbh i thought he would fail but he's done much better than the last few pacers to debut under Gibbo i'e Pascal and Russell.
Speaking as a bowler the best response for a batsman is aggression. It can upset your rhythm and create a more defensive field. Plus at least the score is moving.how the **** do you play this ****. serious
you just hope you do not get bat on ball because theres absolutely no way you are going to be able to assert control
but you need a lot of skill to be able to do that. if you dont middle it arent you kind of just playing into the bowlers hands? as a bowler myself i'd be delighted to have someone like these lads attack me if i am getting the ball to do tricks like that. odds on they'll edge it unless they're ridiculously good.Speaking as a bowler the best response for a batsman is aggression. Its a dangerous strategy but if it comes off the batsman is back on top. Stonewalling in most cases leads to a matter of time kinda situationbut you need a lot of skill to be able to do that. if you dont middle it arent you kind of just playing into the bowlers hands? as a bowler myself i'd be delighted to have someone like these lads attack me if i am getting the ball to do tricks like that. odds on they'll edge it unless they're ridiculously good.
Something to work with, anyway. Fast enough and doesn't spray it. Easy approach to the wicket and doesn't seem to be straining to generate speed. So what does everyone think about Gabriel? would look to see him move the ball away from the right handers and that would really even out his arsenal, he can bowl nice and straight which is good and he can swing it in which is also good but all in all i think he done ok, didn't give much runs away which is a bonus for a pacer these days, tbh i thought he would fail but he's done much better than the last few pacers to debut under Gibbo i'e Pascal and Russell.
