His conduct when appealling, or with umpires and in general is disgraceful IMO. He's single-handedly brought back the reputation of the 'ugly Australian'...especially since the rest of the team is generally full of people who seem to be good blokes.
Yes but umpires have never been under anywhere near as much scrutiny. That's the difference. Technological advanced have just brought to the fore that which has been the case for many years i.e. umpires making errors. Umpires and players have been saying for many, many years that accuracy in LBW's and catches behind have been compromised for the sake of a few millimetres. So it's time, I think, to remove the problem and either change the rule (unlikely) or make the calls automatic in the same way as tennis. The current situation has never been a satisfactory situation in my eyes but it's just magnified these days.Whilst I share your sentiments, its been that way for years and their have been bowlers who bowl at speeds Lee gets past and present. No excuse.
Now THAT I can't explain..........Exactly...at any rate, he's been getting LBWs from around the wicket as well, for which any umpire should instinctively be thinking 'not out'.
Glad I'm not behind him.Now Dar makes a stinker.
And half of those have been against Lara! It's a conspiracy I tells ya.What's going on seriously? I count like 6 shockers against the WI this series. For a side that is obviously inferior to Australia, that's making it even worse.
It's almost as if you're blaming Warne.irfan said:This is getting beyond a joke. Clear inside edge from Dwayne Smith and the Umpire submits to Warne's yellin and screamin. Horrendous decision IMO
I know you're kidding, but its pretty damn irritating to see it happen so often in a series. Mainly the LBWs down legside. Thinking an edge is there when the bat actually hit the pad is fair enough, but when the ball is clearly down legside its shocking.Top_Cat said:And half of those have been against Lara! your overexaggerating that one, full speed it looked like pad before bat, its only on the replay it showed otherwise..irfan said:This is getting beyond a joke. Clear inside edge from Dwayne Smith and the Umpire submits to Warne's yellin and screamin. Horrendous decision IMO

Where's the Grammar Police when you need them?
And the Aussies aren't the only ones that appeal "ridiculously"...all teams do it, particularly in the 3rd and 4th innings
Papaji, thats why they are getting away with it for a long time, Coz noone talks abt itSJS said:Cribbing of bias wont get any one anywhere except earn a whingers tag.
I never said it made the game fair. I just pointed out that the Aussies aren't the only ones that do it, which is what you were alluding to.What-A-Player said:Oh, so all team appeal "ridiculously" in the 3rd and the 4th Innings and that makes the game fair how? ( I'll tell u how, makes it fair for Bensen & Hedges/Fosters public like urs) Some damn conscience to reckon it and still damn snore in the night.
