Demolition Man, you should go straighten up West Indies cricket yourself if you're that tired of it.

Great innings from Hussey. He's amazing. Now he averages something like 110 in Tests, to go along with 123.5 in ODIs. I wonder if anyone has averaged over 100 in both Tests and ODIs at any point in time. Probably not.

Too bad Clown failed again. He'll surely be on the chopping block, unless he dominates with his bowling after all of the other bowlers get smashed and force Ponting to let him bowl.
I'm on my way.

The difference? About 4 years and 40-odd Tests. Clarke is inexperienced and doesn't have himself together at Test level yet. Sarwan has little excuse, considering his apparently prodigious talent, for averaging just 40 after 57 Tests.
What's your point?

i thought it was obvious....meh

anyways, hope hussey doesnt do what clarke did - 'does well in his debut series, then averages like 2rns for the next 2 yrs'

I wouldn't say that really. He has a bit of the Clarke syndrome at the moment where he has all the shots in the book but just can't help himself outside offstump.
Just t the moment?, i have seen an awful lot of Sarwan over the past year & he bats like that all the time.

Hopefully the West Indies can build on this and post at least a 300+ lead. Therre must be spme reason Bravo didn't bowl to after his initial spell folowing lunch. He was the best bowler out there and didn't get a sniff of the ball. Must have been an injury. He looked like he pulled something but then why keep him on the field?

Well if Lara can make runs again then Aus could potentially lose this match. I really hope they do, the west indies have out played them IMO.

i wouldn't say that WI have outplayed anyone, Lara batted wwll and they got alot of runs... and still ended up behind of first innings...

That's because Lara and Bravo were the only ones playing really. Once Bravo went down, the bowling looked toothless.

Or maybe he was exhausted from having bowled far more overs than any of the specialists. He may not quite look it at the moment, but he is mortal.

Lara usually misses out in the second innings after a big knock, but I think he'll manage another decent score here. Of course I've probably jinxed him now.
