Great innings from Hussey. He's amazing. Now he averages something like 110 in Tests, to go along with 123.5 in ODIs. I wonder if anyone has averaged over 100 in both Tests and ODIs at any point in time. Probably not.

Too bad Clown failed again. He'll surely be on the chopping block, unless he dominates with his bowling after all of the other bowlers get smashed and force Ponting to let him bowl.

The difference? About 4 years and 40-odd Tests. Clarke is inexperienced and doesn't have himself together at Test level yet. Sarwan has little excuse, considering his apparently prodigious talent, for averaging just 40 after 57 Tests.

I wouldn't say that really. He has a bit of the Clarke syndrome at the moment where he has all the shots in the book but just can't help himself outside offstump.

Just t the moment?, i have seen an awful lot of Sarwan over the past year & he bats like that all the time.

Hopefully the West Indies can build on this and post at least a 300+ lead. Therre must be spme reason Bravo didn't bowl to after his initial spell folowing lunch. He was the best bowler out there and didn't get a sniff of the ball. Must have been an injury. He looked like he pulled something but then why keep him on the field?

Or maybe he was exhausted from having bowled far more overs than any of the specialists. He may not quite look it at the moment, but he is mortal.
