Yes i agree Dizzy deserves another chance, i don't see the point of having dorey in the team..

I dont understand how the selectors list dorey ahead of dizzy, its just beyond me..

Smith showing alot of faith in Van Der Wath to have him opening the bowling to Gilly after he's been smashed around so much. Nice start for him tho

Gilly just owning this SA bowling attack. No Pollock, Nel, Ntini or Kallis. No chance really.

That was positevely cringe-worthy stuff from Greig as he was going on about the quota system

Everyone's allowed to have a poor game every now and then. Lee goes for 80+ occasionaly, and he's the best ODI bowler in the world, and McGrath goes for 5+ an over everytime he comes up against Hayden in a domestic game. That was really Hopes' only poor bowling effort in his ODI career, and I don't know many bowlers who can contain Sanath when he's in that sort of mood.
exactly i've been pretty impressed with Hopes with his batting & fielding, avery good addition to the OD team.

16 overs past, and this game is over already.
Such a damn pity SA lost so many of its strike bowlers this series. Would have made it very tough for the aussies.

kinda odd thta Symo was sent in at 4, could have been much more destructive coming in later on in the innings.

Him getting sent in at 4, confused the heck outta me, since I was on and off with watching the game.

Seemed strange to me, too. Symonds likes to pace himself early before he unleashes, and it looked like Ponting was indicating he had to keep the pace right up from the get-go - the only thing I could think of otherwise was that he thought they'd barely lose a wicket on that track, and he was concerned that Symmo wouldn't get enough time on it.

Ian Chappell made a very strange call in the fourth over of the match, when the Aussies were around 30 for no loss, and he proclaimed that Australia were obviously going to score far too much for the Saffies to chase, so they'd be looking on to the following game in Hobart as a must-win. As it stands, it does look like we're going to post a very high score, but making that call in the fourth over seemed bizarre, given that it's not that rare for Gilly to get us off to a similarly quick start in any game where we might score 250 or less.

Chappell just point blank doesn't rate the SA batting line-up other than Boucher.
