There's a number of players I'd like to see retire from one day cricket, but it won't happen with a World Cup around the corner. In some ways, the impending World Cup is a bane.

True but at the same time its exciting because it'll be the swan song WC for so many champions. You could probably name 2 or 3 top players from most teams who won't make the next WC, so to see them all play their last one in the same tournament together will be a treat.
