There's a number of players I'd like to see retire from one day cricket, but it won't happen with a World Cup around the corner. In some ways, the impending World Cup is a bane.
True but at the same time its exciting because it'll be the swan song WC for so many champions. You could probably name 2 or 3 top players from most teams who won't make the next WC, so to see them all play their last one in the same tournament together will be a treat.

Aussie selectors... what the hell? Katich back in, McGrath rested. Bracken will get the new ball which is good, but no Jaques!

Lee gets Mubarak, he and Bracken are bowling well.

Give Bracks some right-handers!

I didn`t think he was out, but on replay it clearly hit his glove.
I'm actually quite the opposite. I thought he was out when I saw it live, but after the replay I'm not sure he hit it nor did it hit his glove.

:p

Sangakkara teeing off now, hit 2 consecutive boundaries off Dorey. They're clearly going to target him.

Actually now that they've showed the close-up replay, it did flick his gloves.

Is it just me or does Dorey lose his action just before release? He looks to really fall away.

Ah the Jayasuriya of old. He may not be as good as he was in the 90s, but when he's on its just great to watch.

Hopes has just been belted for 19 runs off his first over!

If this bowling keeps up, I wouldn't be surprised if Hogg is subbed in for someone like South Africa did after Steyn was bowling crap.

HUGE SIX!!!

Poor Hopes, comes back after his first over goes for 19 and then is hit for 6 off his first ball. Crazy.
