Van der Wath i think i remember him playing in a county championship match tlast year onn TV, form what i remember seems a decent all-rounder.

I beg to differ...some of those square drives
well his technique isn't pretty he's write about that but he hits the ball savagely, especially square of the wicket.

Jaques is just all class. He's excellent at finding the fence in the first 15, can pick off singles in the middle overs, and, though we haven't seen it in this match yet, he's also very, very good at going over the top and scoring quickly at the death. He's pretty much a perfect ODI opener, and there's no way in the world he'll be dropped after this innings.

Chappell: Looks like it came off the shoulder of the bat and just clipped the glove on the way through aswell. See the guilty look on his face, he knows he hit it.

He didn't hit it at all you asswipe.

That's what I hate about Chappell/Lawry/Greig...they make a mistake in commentary and then run with it as if it's right. Even when they find out it's wrong they try defending what they said. Then Nicholas usually comes in and corrects them, saying what actually happened and what the rule really is.

Now Haddin's out.
