i reckon there's lot of wishful thinking with this lineup. .. Given that two of ur chosen werent even selected for the squad currently touring Australia, Chandana and Zoysa. . I agree that Chandana would be a helpful addition but i cant see him lasting too long as an opener, he doesnt hav the technique. . .It would be nice to see Dilshan developing into a consistent no. 4 batsmen, but he has a long way to go . . Batting Zoysa above Tharanga is wasteful. Zoysa maybe a good slogger but Tharanga will certainly provide runs more consistently. He seems a bit of mini Jayasuriya to me ... Also i think u need some fresh blood in, whether its Vandort, Mubarak or Kapugedara . ..

I really don`t like this meantality of 'We have one million batsmen, let`s smack everything.' They`re still humans that need to play themselves in. Great stuff by Jaques, now go Dorey.

Chappell: Looks like it came off the shoulder of the bat and just clipped the glove on the way through aswell. See the guilty look on his face, he knows he hit it.

He didn't hit it at all you asswipe.
 Exactly what I was thinking at the time.

Agreed. Just because it worked in the Twenty20 and against Sri Lanka doesn't mean it's going to work every other time (as we've seen)

Is Dorey any good with the ball?. I am pretty sure he will get extra bounce:P
He's very inexperienced, but yes. Swings it both ways, gets lots of bounce, and he's sharp enough to keep you honest as well. Like I said when he got picked for this game, he's a huge prospect.

Time for Smithy to step up with the bat today. Let's see if they target Dorey as soon as he comes on.

I think it'll be very much to Dorey's advantage if they try and target him. I don't think they will, though. They'll be looking to get after Hopes and Hogg.
