NO , you got me wrong. All i'm trying to say is that Pak bowling attack is very weak coz of injuries to all the frontline bowlers, as such i don't think Pak will be able to beat Aus in finals.

There are others too who share my opinion, though i'll be glad for Pak if they do win a match or so in the finals.

I think it will be 2 nil, but the games will be closer then some people think. It might go to a third if it rains in Melbourne again. I can't see the Aussie making the same mistakes they did a couple days ago, unless of course they continue to pick Hayden. It looks to me that Rana has it over him.

Pakistan are a surprise package. If you open them too quickly, Afridi will explode. If you are too cautious, Afridi will fire. Either way, he is likely to hit some sixes. My point is, never be too sure that Afridi will explode. :D :D
Talking about sixes, Afridi needs just two more sixes to make a world record! He has scored 186 sixes, while Jaysuria has 187.

I don't think wahindiawah is that anti-Pakistan (considering he's an Indian supporter :)). You're probably thinking of vandemataram.

I agree with him in that I think it'll be 2-0 to Australia in the finals - I'd allow Pakistan a chance if one of the matches is significantly rain-affected though.

LOL, I personally think that wahindiawah is much more extreme then vandematram.
It looks like if it is going to be 2-0 though. :(

Those of you living in Melbourne, how do the chances of a full game tommorow look at the moment?

I've never heard vandemataram have anything to say about Pakistan that isn't ridicule though - as far as I've seen wahindiawah isn't half as bad. Haven't read all their posts though. :)

Chances of a full game are looking extremely unlikely, but the chances of having some kind of completed game are better than they looked last night - we got the highest rainfall ever recorded in a 24 hr period in Melbourne yesterday. It's sunny right now (early evening, 7.40pm as I speak), but there's a lot of dark cloud gathering. Forecast is for thunderstorms continuing tomorrow. Pretty cold for this time of year, too.

Mr. wahindiawah,

Opinions aren't copyrighted.

SL,
Ominous signs. :( Just hope we can have some kind of game tommorow, or on the reserve day. [if there is one such thing as that]

I doubt there'll be any play tomorrow. It's meant to rain heavily tomorrow with thunderstorms. Probably similar for Saturday (if it is a reserve day).

No, it is definitely wahindia - every single post he makes is putting the Pakistani team down.

I hope pakistan make a game of the finals. The last few have not gone to a decider. Is the third match next Wednesday or Friday?

Pakistan is lucky to still have Inzamam, he should have been banned according to the ICC rules. But I'm glad he wasn't, I feel it would have been very harsh.

I think the key for Australia is just play their natural game... but then again, they really don't succumb to pressure like other teams do. Pakistan should not choke like they usually do. This is their chance to turn this tour of Australia into a decent one. Right now it has been disastrous.

i'm going to open up a bee's nest here, but i reckon pakistan have more of chance of winnign WITHOUT shoaib, than with shoaib.

if shoaib was in aus, and going to be playing today, he would be saying how he's going to get ponting martyn clarke gilly all out for nothing, and he's going to single handeldly win this game etc etc etc etc. blah blah blah blah

when the game starts he'll end up with 5-0-45-0

he is all talk and no action........he will give up easily, and doesn't perform in finals

at least rao and rana try their hearts out and dont talk bullsh!t

and khalil aint bad either! i reckon drop rao and play mahmood for the extra batting.....their bowling are alike newya
