It was me who said he was passed prime.Linda said:What Im saying is, I doubt theyd drop him.
P.S. Forgive my ignorance, but FTB??
Yeh, I am also confused as to FTB.

nah we saw it in the west, it was on after the second time it started raining.GoT_SpIn said:*gasp* you missed the steve waugh interview on his 100 in the SCG
Well actually, the ridiculous thing is, the first rain break was skipped. The second rain break, they showed the Perfect Day thing. Then they came back and said "Well the match has been abandoned..." Typical.GoT_SpIn said:*gasp* you missed the steve waugh interview on his 100 in the SCG
When did Ian Harvey ever have that kind of form? Hes "freak"ishly mediocre.Josh said:ill rephrase it and say he's passed his best international form... A case of the Ian Harvey syndrome... lol
Probably never batting form (maybe one game somewhere), but bowling form I'd point you back to the 2003 World Cup.Linda said:When did Ian Harvey ever have that kind of form? Hes "freak"ishly mediocre.
What about it? He was pretty good, sure, but no where near the kind of spectacular that Symonds was in the same tournament.Josh said:Probably never batting form (maybe one game somewhere), but bowling form I'd point you back to the 2003 World Cup.
i agree with you, i doubt they'd drop him too, especially seeing as how hes been named in the all time aussie XI.Linda said:What Im saying is, I doubt theyd drop him.

and seeing as how he really only had about 1.5 years in his entire career where he actually justified his selection.GoT_SpIn said:I dont see how he has passed his prime? at the age of 29?
If you happen to have one on you.GoT_SpIn said:Want a medal?
I think it'd be hilarious if he was dropped (Oh my bad, 'rested') a few days after he is named in their all time ODI XI.tooextracool said:i agree with you, i doubt they'd drop him too, especially seeing as how hes been named in the all time aussie XI.
and FTB= flat track bully
It was changed early last year I believe. I first remember it in effect in the Natwest Series opener.Crazy Sam said:and I have a question - since when was it 20 overs to constitute a match? I always thought for ODIs that it was 25 overs?
20 overs for a 50 over game is a disgrace - that could mean 40 overs overall if it rained enough, which is not even as many as one full innings. Talk about ripping off the spectators.
It was not ridiculous. Given some of the D/L adjustments made in the past, Australia got off easy!Crazy Sam said:The Australians were given a ridiculous run chase
He's not picked to field! He was confident as always in the fielding yesterday, it's just his batting confidence that is the problem.
