What have the West Indies "quicks" been like so far (King and Dillon in particular as I haven't seen either of them for a while)? It's difficult to glean much from the reports.

err you did say that he was extremely slow in the field, another one of your uneducated comments that you seem to be taking back. seriously, the only reason why bevan fielded in positions like third man was because he was the quickest to get to the ball in the entire side.
I was using an analogy that he was slower than a snail, not that he was really slower than a snail. The only reason he was at third man for most of his career was because there were much better fielders to field in the in-field and he was a waste of space there.

no he never had a 'terrible pair of hands'. he had a decent but not brilliant pair of hands but in combination with his lightning quick speed int he field it it made him an extremely good fielder.and where have i talked him up as being as good as symonds, ponting etc? you said that bevan has gotten away with being a poor fielder for all his career .
He has been a poor fielder for his entire career. Maybe you should take your blinkers off and don't let his batting abilities overshadow his terrible fielding.

yes thank you for telling me something that i already knew. seriously only those who saw him towards the end of his career, which is you and whoever else said that bevan was a poor fielder on this forum would think that. because the fact was that he was a brilliant fielder for a major part of his career.

I have watched most if not all of Bevan's entire career, so you sir, are wrong there. He was anything but a brilliant fielder.

Beleg

International Regular
Sounded like a neat contest. A second string bowling line-up succeeded in restricting them to less then 270 is pretty neat.

And Razzaq delivers the goods again.

Beleg

International Regular
Pak scored like 85 runs in the last 7 overs. And were 5/117 after 30 overs. Certainly an impressive comeback. The return of Azhar Mahmood seems like a good omen. [strenght returning to lower middle-order]

International Regular
Razzaq and co hit 110 runs off their final 10 overs. Amazing stuff. This is the area in both innings which Pakistan keep winning. NZ have learned from them when they did it here in NZ

Impressive bowling at the end there - Australia A were looking well on top, needing 30 off 36 with 6 wickets in hand, but Rana pegged them back with good, full-pitched bowling. Great allround performance from Razzaq too.

if australia lose all there games there is a chance of nz moving to number 1

it could happen

Thats exactly right, no.... it couldnt happen. Anyone that knows ther cricket would know the Autralians are comfortably on top of the ICC rankings for one dayers and tests

yeah Abdul Razzaq and Afridi could be a very dangerous combination in the last overs, wasim akram and latif use to do that job well in the past

Yes, but technically there is a chance of NZ overtaking them (although the chance is so slim as to be realistically nil)

Simon Katich has a throat infection and has been Quarantined from the rest of the side.
I'd quarantine him from anyone even before he got the throat infection.

err yes i know, obviously, no human is capable of being slower than a snail. but the fact is hes not slow, otherwise he wouldnt be one of the best runner between the wickets in the history of the game

which is why he spent so much time at mid off isnt it? 8-)
and of course there have been times when hes been fielding at point

maybe you should watch cricket more closely? personally i doubt you've watched more than 1/4th of his career.
certainly only someone who watched 1/4th of his career would call him a snail in the field, despite the fact that he was the best runner in the entire side. 8-)
i can show you many articles other than his cricinfo profile that state that hes a brilliant fielder:
