Cor, lol at that England performance.. Weird how it seems to have no correlation with cricketing strength in the adults game (Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, New Zealand being incredibly naff)

I dunno, SA seem to be naff in both

Oh my what a belting. :D Extras second highest run scorer... ouch.

Ahmed's figures are superb and well batted by Pujara.

Have to concur. If we are naff, how good are Sri Lanka - beat them 4-1 in Odi's and a test series in the last year. Sure we were naff in South africa, but that wound is almost healed for me. Hopefully, we can all get over it.

And if NZ are naff, wait how naff the Windies look in the next couple of months.

NZ hammered USA by 170 runs to reach the plate final. Andrew De Boorder scored 100*..he's been one of the batting successes along with Todd Astle.

Hopefully NZ can turn up in the final and play well.

I just find it a ridiculous comment to make that NZ are naff when really only Australia have dominated them in ODI's (and who doesn't lose to Oz anyway?) and really the only slip up recently was in South Africa. Our test cricket has been disappointing, but we are capable of better.

Point is bar those two matches against Zim last year, we have played fairly average test cricket for a while, but we haven't had a hell of a lot of practise at it. At least we have six tests in the next couple of months to prove ourselves.

And who doesn't get dominated by Aus in ODI's?

I'm sure he meant that the things that don't correspond in the Under 19 game are Bangladesh and Zimbabwe being very good and ok respectively (when they're crap in senior cricket) and NZ being incredibly naff (when they're good in senior cricket). It's a difficult sentence to word properly, Rich isn't that much of an idiot. ;)

Nepal, have beaten South Africa twice now in 2 world cups as Nepal, beat South Africa again by 2 runs in the plate semi-final to make the plate finals now. Nepal, should win the Plate championship from here on considering that they will be facing New Zealand, who have struggled so far in the tournament being woefully off-form. I do hope Nepal lifts the plate now.

A conversation I had with my mum not long ago.
Me: It's the under-19 World cup semi final tomorrow. Australia vs. Pakistan.
Mum: What's so important about that?
me: I know someone who's playing
Mum: Really? Who?
Me: His name's Jack McNamara
Mum: Jack McNamara? That doesn't sound very Pakistani!

Sad thing, as a New Zealander, I will of course, be happy, if NZ win the plate, but I don't think (unless they give Nepal a convincing trouncing) they really deserve to.

nah man, judging a team future on performances in these tournaments have proven to not be the best guide. Take for example England again they won the 98 tournament & none of the players their aren't anywhere in the England setup today..
