You have to take Hughes for what he is. He'll never look like a test match opener. He just finds ways to make mountains of runs. Like all batsmen, he'll go through periods where opposition sides will 'work him out', but the challenge is to work on his weaknesses, but definitely not ignore his unique strengths.Granted I wasn't able to watch his debut series in South Africa last year but Phillip Hughes really doesn't look like a test match opening batsmen, not at this stage of his career anyway.
